I am Mert Efe Akıllıoğlu, a Data Science Professional based in Berlin, specialising in financial management and data-driven strategies.My educational journey began with a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from Anglia Ruskin University. Following this, I completed a Master's degree in Accounting and Finance at the University of Northampton, where my thesis explored how digital payment platforms have transformed consumer banking behaviour in Turkey and the subsequent implications for traditional banking institutions. Driven by my passion for interpreting data and turning it into actionable insights, I pursued a second Master's degree in Data Analytics. For my dissertation in this programme, I conducted a machine learning-based feature importance analysis to determine the factors influencing Turkish consumer purchase decisions in e-commerce.Alongside my academic and professional career, I have a special interest in luxury, high-end mechanical watches and am an avid watch collector.
